Ms. Kaur has worked in a healthcare setting for a total of eight years, with a combined experience in healthcare administration in nursing home facilities, as well as corporate-funded organizations and executive administrator for Hospice care. With over 3200+ hrs of nursing instruction, she has helped students succeed in their academic courses through outstanding 1:1 counseling/ tutoring.

Mr. Nappa is a recent graduate from the University of Texas at Austin, and he is in his gap year before hopefully entering medical school. He is highly passionate about the sciences and helping other students overcome their academic obstacles. He was once a struggling student, and he overcame his academic failures to become a Dean’s List student at the University of Texas at Austin. He hopes to use his experiences to inspire and teach a new generation of Doctors, Engineers, and Teachers!

Hari graduated from Coppell HS in 2020. He has experience working as an intern at NumbersOnly, Inc. and working as a freelance tutor for HS Math and Physics. He has volunteered at River Oaks Assisted Living and Coppell Teen Court as a Juror. His extracurricular activities included marching band, concert band and Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra-Jazz Institute.

Deepika

Deepika is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science of Neuroscience at the University of Texas at Dallas (expected graduation in 2023) with dreams of attending medical school. Deepika graduated from Coppell High School in 2019 with AP Scholar, and exceptional SAT and ACT scores. To obtain her goals, Deepika participates in on campus research, scribes at Children’s Medical Center, and is a part of multiple extracurricular activities-such as fencing and volunteering at animal shelters. Deepika has been tutoring for almost 7 years now; she enjoys tutoring any subject necessary but has expertise in science, ACT, and SAT!

Anvita

Anvita is a freshman at the University of Texas at Austin, majoring in Economics and Plan II and working towards certificates in computer science and applied statistics. She is from Coppell, TX, and graduated high school with an International Baccalaureate diploma. She enjoys teaching and learning math, and outside of academics is part of an Indian classical dance team. Anvita is also part of the UT chapter of the Texas Economics Association and Women in STEM.

Pete earned an MS degree in Mathematics and a BA in Liberal Arts/Languages Latin, German, Greek, Hebrew and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Wisconsin. He currently works as an Adjunct Professor at Collin College.  He has an M.S. in  Mathematics and nearly 40 years of teaching and tutoring experience. Nam, Ph.D

Nam completed a doctorate degree in Molecular Biology (TWU 2019) with an emphasis in Neuroscience. In 2013, she received a B.S. degree in Micro/Cell/Molec/Biotech and Pre-medicine from Southeast Missouri State University with minors in Physics and Chemistry where she graduated with Honors Scholar with Magma cum Laude. In 2010, she obtained a B.S. degree from Tribhuvan University in Kathmandu, Nepal. She currently works as a Graduate Teaching Assistant.

Brad completed a Ph.D. in Mathematics at the UNT. He currently holds degrees in Mathematics from Texas A & M (undergraduate) and Lamar University (graduate). He has over 18 years experience as a teacher and tutor. He currently works as a math professor at UNT.

Dan recently received his Ph.D. in English (UNT, 2020) with an emphasis in British Literature. In addition to his doctorate, he holds Master of Arts degrees in Literature and Humanities as well as a Master’s of Library Science. He has extensive experience as an educator and researcher and is currently a faculty member with the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. As a formal instructor, he has taught high school, community college, university, and graduate-level courses. Wendy was awarded BS degrees in Physics and Chemistry with a minor in Mathematics. She graduated with distinction in Physics. She won many awards including the Provost Award, a Student Life Award. Awarded Best Undergraduate Empirical Research Poster at Southeast Missouri State University Student Research Conference. inducted into Sigma Pi Sigma, and the National Physics Honor Society. She has extensive tutoring experience and has tutored all levels of math, physics, chemistry, and test prep.

Brandi

Brandi earned a BA in English from Tarleton State University and MEd in Reading from Dallas Baptist University. She is a certified teacher in English and ESL and currently teaches Honors English and ESL classes at Argyle High School.  Before Argyle, Brandi taught English for twelve years at Carroll ISD. While there, she was awarded “Best of the Best Teacher” and was twice nominated for Teacher of the Year. Jacob will earn his Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience and Psychology from the University of Texas at Dallas in May of 2022. He currently has a 3.98 GPA going into his last semester as an undergrad. Further, he has experience working in an Animal Behavior & Sensory Ecology Research Lab designing and conducting experiments to understand how sensory information (i.e., vision, olfaction, tact) affects animals’ ecological interactions. After graduation, Jacob plans on pursuing a Ph.D. in Neuroscience on his path to becoming a research neuroscientist, investigating the neuroscience of cognitive biases and heuristics.

Leah is currently the math/science department head at a a local private school. In addition to being a published scientist, Leah is a licensed scuba diver, and is certified in genetic editing and transcranial magnetic stimulation.
